MA Education (Masters of Arts in Education)

Modules

The table below shows the full range of modules and how they relate to particular specialisms.

If you wish to undertake a specialist Masters programme you must take two 30-credit modules in your specialism and write a dissertation on a relevant topic. You may also choose additional credits from the modules shown, subject to any prerequisites.

If you are building your own programme, you have more flexibility in your choice of modules. You may also study single modules through our Professional Development in Education programme.

The MA Education 2017-18 timetable is now available to download.

If you are an International Student you are only able to study Part Time via Distance Learning. This is due to Visa restrictions. Therefore you need to be aware that, if you are studying Part Time, your module options are restricted to those that offer the delivery method of Distance Learning. They are indicated below by the presence of a red D.

*These modules will not be offered as blended or distance modules in 2016/17
