PGCE Open Days

Becoming a teacher will lead to an exciting and rewarding career. Quality teachers are highly sought after and choosing a PGCE programme is an important step in ensuring a successful career.

For those of you interested in training to become a teacher, we regularly host Open Days where you can visit our campus, meet our tutors and learn more about these particular PGCE courses.

A few comments following a recent open day:

"Top marks to our tour guide, who was buzzing with enthusiasm. When I left the Open Day I felt extremely positive and motivated."

"I felt the most useful part of the day was having lunch with the tutors – that was where we learnt the nitty-gritty about the course, how it’s run, the placements and career advice. We also got the chance to talk to other prospective students. I found it informative and welcoming. All of my questions were answered in a very friendly way. I found all the staff I talked with to be very approachable and informative."

"It definitely added to the information in the prospectus excellently."

"Thanks, I enjoyed the day and would recommend it to anybody."
