About the project

This project is aimed at exploring different pedagogical approaches which engage young students (pupils aged 4-12) in primary schools to take a greater ownership of their own learning, develop independence and confidence in their own abilities. We aim to know how pupils can learn best and apply that ability and skill to develop enquiring minds. 'We want children to become wise not just clever.

By addressing these issues we will also develop innovative approaches that will inspire children to ask questions and seek understanding as well as exploring the possibilities of answering the ‘big questions’ in our respective national curricula.  This bi-lateral exchange of ideas and approaches will inevitably engage all within the project to deepen our sense of community within both countries and the European dimension.
