Geraldene Poulet-Bowden is currently a Physics teacher in a local South Devon school. She has a degree in physics from Imperial College and is an Associate of the Royal college of Science, a Chartered Scientist, a member of the institute of Physics and a Chartered Physicist. Geraldine has been teaching physics since taking a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Exeter University in 1991.
She is also currently Contingent Commander of the school Combined Cadet Force masterminding Adventurous training through afloat activities. She is involved an action research on The Physics of Sailing; Member of a Cross Atlantic Exped in Oct-Nov 2013 with Joint Services from the Canary Islands to the West Indies looking into Astro Navigation.
She has completed a European project contributing to one particular Module: Citizenship-European and global through the teaching of Science.
