Online learning
(eLearning and distance learning)

Dr Ian Nicoll is the manager of E-learning and Communications, and Learning Technologist for the College, assisting with all aspects of online learning for staff and students within the Graduate School of Education and running our adult learning provision, Continuing Education.

If you are a distance learner, or if you find that your on campus programme has supporting content online, you will find your course materials within the Exeter Learning Environment, or ELE (pronounced 'Ellie' - so if a member of staff appears to be telling you that you will find certain information 'on Ellie', this is what they are referring to).

If you have any difficulties or questions relating to ELE, Mike will be happy to help you - you can call or email, or find him in Baring Court.
