Overview

There are no pre-requisites. As things stand, any individual student will only take one LfT module- but they can choose the year in which they take it.

Placements

Students will arrange their own placements.

Placements are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service declaration (the new name for CRB); the university will pay the DBS fee.

Placements may take place in July 2016, September 2016 and during the 2016/17 Christmas vacation. Students on the 30 credit modules can choose to do their 2nd week in April 2017.

While most students undertake their placements in schools, it is perfectly acceptable for a student to arrange their placement in a different educational setting (e.g.  FE College, TEFL School)

P‌lease see the Learning for Teaching FAQs.  for further information. If you have any further questions regarding placements please contact Sam Phillips (learningforteaching@exeter.ac.uk).
