When making my decision to study at the University of Exeter, I was influenced by its good ranking in the University Guides, as well as by its good reputation in the field of Education. I was also told that Exeter is a nice and quiet place where one could live in harmony. Most of all, I was interested in the programme’s modules, and I was influenced by the way this Masters programme is organised i.e. part-time Summer Intensive; a fact which gives me the opportunity to live and work in my own country and at the same time study a UK Masters degree. It was also a good opportunity to visit the UK and learn more about the English culture and language.

Studying and working at the same time is a demanding process, as it requires organisation and self-discipline; it keeps me busy throughout the year, but I do not regret choosing this programme. I can study up to four modules per year and this allows me to process each module in a more mature and reasonable way. I feel that now I am learning more than I could have learned had I studied it over the course of one-year full-time, because I think that the full-time provides loads of information which might have not been assimilated completely in one year. Finally, I know that my tutors are always willing to help me and give me counselling.

I believe that the MEd TESOL contributes a lot to my development as an English teacher and I will definitely recommend it to my colleagues.
