Welcome to all new postgraduate students arriving in Autumn 2016

I would like to offer you a very warm welcome to the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies here at Exeter. My colleagues and I are delighted that you will be joining us and we look forward to working with you.

In creating a vibrant academic environment for your studies, it is important for us to receive input and feedback from our students. The Institute has a Staff-Student Liaison Committee which meets twice a term and is a forum for you to raise issues and put forward ideas through elected representatives. I do encourage you to have your say.

I wish you all an enjoyable and successful career at Exeter.

Professor Christine Allison
Director of the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies

Please note

The guidelines listed in the left-hand menu (under 'New postgraduates') are written for Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students. PGT students are those studying for an MA or MRes.

If you are studying for an MPhil or a PhD then you are a Postgraduate Research (PGR) student; if this applies to you, please see the Graduate Research School website for your induction information.
