Programme overview
The MA in Palestine Studies enables students to acquire extensive understanding of Palestinian history and politics. Topics studied include the uses and abuses of history writing, providing students with the skills to deconstruct historical writing and an understanding of the ways in which representations of the past are used in current Palestinian debates.
This programme is taught at the University by a Centre dedicated to this field of study: the European Centre for Palestine Studies. Established in 2009 to coordinate research and discussion of the Palestine Question, the Centre brings together experts in politics and Islamic studies to encourage and develop a new generation of academic experts in this subject.
We are now taking applications for this programme.
