Professor Abdulaziz N. Al-Mani

Professor Emeritus, King Saud University, Riyadh

Professor Al-Mani is emeritus professor of Arabic Literature at King Saud University, and the 2009 winner of the King Faisal Prize – often termed the ‘Arab Nobel Prize’, in the category of Arabic Literature. He is also a 1976 Exeter alumnus in Arabic Literature. While remaining mainly based in Riyadh, he will be associated with IAIS as Honorary Visiting Professor for a three-year period, from October 2009 to September 2012.
