Biography

Originally from the United States, I received my masters and doctoral degrees from Queen’s University Belfast. The Rt Hon. Lord Bew of Donegore supervised my doctoral thesis, and it was examined by Prof. Brendan Simms of Peterhouse College, Cambridge. Prior to coming to Exeter, I worked as a research assistant at INCORE at the University of Ulster, where I assisted Prof. Brandon Hamber on projects that examined psychosocial approaches to trauma in conflict and post-conflict situations and the processes of evaluating research in and of violently divided societies.
