Entry requirements
A Law degree of at least a 2:1 Honours or equivalent, and a sound understanding of the basic principles of public and private law. We are happy to consider students with qualifications or degrees other than in Law, eg, Accountancy or Business Studies, if qualifications include a substantial legal element, or if you can demonstrate substantial relevant legal experience.
If you are an international student who does not meet the entry requirements the University will automatically consider you for the INTO Graduate Diploma in Law, which on successful completion will enable you to enroll onto a Law LLM.
English language requirements
- IELTS overall score of 6.5, with no less than 6.0 in any section.
- TOEFL IBT overall score of 92, with no less than 22 in any section.
Applicants with lower scores may be able to take pre-sessional English at INTO University of Exeter prior to commencing their programme. For more detailed information regarding English language requirements, please see the University's Postgraduate Study website.
