Programme overview
The LLM Master of Laws is a brand new programme for 2011 which allows you to choose any combination of taught postgraduate modules offered by the Law School. It therefore constitutes an unrivalled opportunity to study across a range of modules taught by leading academics in their field, and will give you access to the most topical, academically rigorous and professionally relevant courses in a variety of legal subjects.
The nature of the group learning that we offer, with a strong focus on student participation, fosters an academically challenging but supportive community atmosphere. This is further strengthened by the opportunities to participate in international mooting competitions, our skills training programme, visit to the European Institutions and, of course, the active student led social life.
We have close and active links with Exeter Law School alumni and honorary doctorates, many of whom occupy powerful and prestigious roles in the legal community throughout the world. Where possible, we invite individuals from this community and the broader legal community, to engage with our postgraduate students, whether through research seminars or more informal events, thus providing our students with valuable networking opportunities.
Like all postgraduate Law students at the University of Exeter, you will have the opportunity to go on a study tour to see at first hand the workings of the institutions of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
