Socio-legal research on family law issues - programmes and funded studentships available

The Network on Family, Regulation and Society wishes to draw the attention of those wishing to pursue socio-legal research on family law issues to the programmes and funded studentships available to facilitate this at the Universities of Exeter and Bristol.

Legislating on Shared Parenting

The government response to the Family Justice Review was published on the 6th February 2012.

Funding Success for Network Members

Dr Emma Hitchings (University of Bristol) and Ms Joanna Miles (University of Cambridge) have been awarded a grant worth £70,000 from the Nuffield Foundation to undertake empirical research to discover the stage within court proceedings at which consent orders are made.

Bath University network members win major award

Congratulations to Network members Ian Butler and Tess Ridge and Ian who are part of the research group who have ensured Bath has been awarded the extremely prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize 2011.
