Families are becoming increasingly diverse. The Network on Family Regulation and Society is developing a socio-legal research agenda to explore the implications of these changes for the regulation of family and personal relationships in law and policy. In so doing, it would ensure that family policy can be built on high-quality evidence.

The Network led a Leverhulme International Network on New Families, New Governance with the partner Universities of Notre Dame, USA, Melbourne, Australia and The Free University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
