Head of Communications and Marketing
I am responsible for marketing and communications in the College of Social Sciences and International Studies. Working closely with colleagues in each of the College disciplines as well as across the University's Professional Services and the wider External Relations team, I am engaged in both operational delivery as well as strategic planning.
My role is extremely varied and includes the following areas: Customer Relationship Management (CRM); print publications and related publicity material; international recruitment; web marketing; recruitment events; media coverage; advertising.
I joined the University in December 2007 from Pearson Education where I spent 14 years in a variety of marketing roles, predominantly direct marketing, relationship marketing and communications. I also have experience in a range of other areas including market research, events management and online marketing.
