Entry requirements
View entry requirements for all of our undergraduate degrees on the University's undergraduate study site.
From 2010 entry the LNAT is no longer an entry requirement to the School of Law at The University of Exeter. Since introducing the LNAT we have been monitoring carefully the LNAT scores achieved by our students alongside their results in end of year examinations. From this we have concluded that, at present, requiring applicants to sit the test does not provide sufficient additional information to enable us to select amongst the large number of high quality applications we receive each year. In future we will therefore be using past and predicted exam results alongside the personal statement and reference in deciding whether we are able to make an offer.
How do I apply?
You need to apply for this course through UCAS. See full details of how to apply on the University's undergraduate study site. You will find information about preparing your application, the application process, our entry and admissions policy, how your application is processed and what happens next. The site also provides background on studying at the University, student finance and other useful information.
Mature students
We very much welcome applicants who may not have come directly from school or college and who wish to return to education at different stages of their lives. Studying law as a mature student can be a truly rewarding experience as so much of the subject matter relates to the negotiation of the practical as well as intellectual challenges in the world, challenges familiar to more mature candidates.
You may not necessarily have to have the same formal academic qualifications as other applicants. Applications will be considered on their individual merits and, in coming to a decision, your academic background and relevant experience since leaving school are taken into account.
