The Exeter Daily reported on a project by law student Michael Berry focused on improving the prospects of children in care.

Research by Professor Rupert Wegerif (Education) which suggests that weekly philosophy sessions in class can boost primary school pupils' ability in maths and literacy was reported by the BBC News website. Prof Wegerif was interviewed about the study on BBC Radio Devon, and has also recently spoken to BBC Radio Kent and the Mark Forrest Show about ‘Thinking School’ accreditation. Listen here.

Phys.org reported work led by Dr Jo Maynard and Professor Salah Troudi (Education) that found that students learning English as a foreign language can benefit from day to day conversations in a chat room setting with people with English as a first language.
