The University of Exeter enters into a new Articulation Agreement with Brickfields Asia Collge in Malaysia

The University of Exeter has entered into a new Articulation Agreement with Brickfields Asia College in Malaysia. The agreement will allow appropriately qualified students from Brickfields to enter into the second year of the LLB degree at Exeter’s Law School, while also fostering further cooperation between our institutions.

Established in 1991, Brickfields Asia College is a specialist Law and Business School, with bases in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. Brickfields is currently regarded as the premier law school in Malaysia and is well-known for its global focus, with partners at a select group of international universities offering students the chance to graduate overseas. Following the signing of the new agreement, Exeter will receive students from Brickfields from the 2018/19 academic year.

The University of Exeter enjoys a strong history of engagement with Malaysia. Currently, Exeter is home to around 150 Malaysian students who come to the University to study a range of subjects at different levels and we have a fast-expanding Malaysian alumni-base which now exceeds 600 graduates. The Law School is a popular destination for Malaysian undergraduate students and it is hoped that the new agreement will see Exeter welcome even more students from Malaysia in the coming years.

Dr Greta Bosch, Associate Professor in Law and programme lead for the new partnership, said ‘We are delighted to be signing this new arrangement Brickfields. I have always been impressed with the quality of the facilities at Brickfields and with the high calibre of their students. Offering an international experience is very important to Exeter’s Law School and we hope that this new agreement will further diversify our cohort, whilst providing Brickfields students with the opportunity to study at two great educational institutions.’
