Double success for Professor Sabina Leonelli

Congratulations to Professor Sabina Leonelli, Egenis Deputy Director and IDSAI (Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) theme lead, who has been elected to the Académie Internationale de Philosophie des Sciences (International Academy of Philosophy of Sciences) as one of just eight new members, in recognition of her outstanding work in the philosophy of science and making it work for global society.

Professor Leonelli has also been elected Vice President of the European Philosophy of Science Association.  

Professor Leonelli said: “At a time of crisis in both politics and the environment, support for responsible and collaborative research that crosses disciplines, cultures and national borders is ever more important. This is a central goal for me and Egenis colleagues, and I am delighted for the opportunity to further that goal through service to international science academies and learned societies.”
