Non-Final Year Prize Celebration 2019

The Law School to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our prize winning students.

On 22 October 2019, Exeter Law School held its inaugural Non-Final Year Prizes Celebration. This was a chance for the Law School to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our prize winning students. There was a brief speech by the Director of Prizes and Scholarships, followed by the presentation of the certificates. Afterwards there was the opportunity for the winners to celebrate their success with staff, friends and family.

This year’s prize winners were:

  • Lucy Cole - (Oxford University Press Victoria Williams Memorial Prize for the most promising first year female of potential)
  • Laura Chambers - (DLA European Law Prize for the first year LLB European Law student with the highest average mark over the course of their first year of study)
  • Faisal Al Kaisi - (Edward Elgar Publishing Prize for the LLB student with the best performance in EU Law)
  • Joseph Roberts - (Hart Publishing Prize for the LLB student with the best performance in the Law of Trusts)
  • Ryan Brough - (Michelmores Prize for Land Law for the LLB student with the best performance in Land Law)
  • Oliver Hutchings - (Michelmores Prize for Land Law for the LLB student with the best performance in Land Law)
  • Charlotte Croucher - (Tozers Prize for Exceptional Performance in the Law of Torts)
  • Ashanti Brazier-Olatunde - (Oxford University Press Law Prize for the LLB student with the best overall performance in second year)
