Activities in Cornwall

Teaching Enrichment Days

Our annual calendar of Teaching Enrichment activities aims to offer a wide range of focussed skills development sessions that support the delivery of school curriculum. Designed to align with a range of pre- and post-16 subject areas, these sessions – run and supported by university staff and students – bring participants to our Penryn Campus with the aim of supporting their school studies while providing an opportunity to explore the University of Exeter itself.

For a full list of opportunities, please visit our Teacher's Pages.

Day in the Life

Our Day In The Life programme brings individuals or small school groups onto campus to spend a day in the shoes of the University of Exeter student.

Accompanied by University of Exeter Student Ambassadors, students will attend undergraduate lectures, seminars and other academic sessions, take part in a full campus tour, and have the opportunity to speak to staff and current students about the course, student life, the university, Penryn, and the careers and opportunities available beyond graduation.

Year 12 Summer Residentials

Every July we contribute humanities subject strands on this Year 12 Summer Residential at both Exeter and Cornwall campuses, giving students from outside the region the opportunity to experience life as a University of Exeter student.

Lasting for 4 days and 3 nights, participants will be able to choose from a range of subject activity strands, as well as take part in extracurricular activities that complement the student experience. Find out more on our Year 12 residential webpages about this opportunity.
