Your students will receive a series of interactive workshops delivered by Arabic-speaking staff and students from the university. This exciting programme is aimed at year groups 6 -11 and will be delivered in your school.

Brexit: A discussion of the UK's future in Europe

Years: 8 & 9

In light of the referendum result of 2016, and the ensuing discussions on the practicalities of Brexit, the UK's relationship with the EU is at its most contentious position to date. This session looks to draw together U3A, and secondary school children, to discuss the role of the Community in British politics, and the respective advantages and disadvantages of disbanding the longstanding connection between the domestic and supranational level.
