Welcome to all new students of Politics

A very warm welcome to Politics at the University of Exeter; we are delighted that you will be joining us this Autumn. You have done well to gain a place here, and we look forward to working with you. According to the University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Steve Smith, “Politics and international relations is one of the strengths of the University. We are committed to continuing to strengthen politics and international relations so that it becomes one of the very best groupings in the UK”. We are pleased that you have chosen to be a part of, and benefit from, this exciting future.

As part of the process of growth and development, it is important for us to receive input and feedback from our students on their experiences here. Politics has a Staff-Student Liaison Committee which meets twice a term and which acts as a forum for you to raise issues and put forward ideas, through elected representatives. We would like to encourage you to participate in this. We wish you all a very pleasant and successful time studying with us.

Welcome to students commencing study in January 2012
