Current Research
- A Parliamentary Archive, 1832-present: the socio-economic backgrounds and career patterns of British MPs since 1832 - supported by an ESRC Award. Continuing in collaboration with the History of Parliament Trust. The Archive will form the basis of the Trust's work on members of the post-1832 House of Commons.
- The parliamentary participation of party leaders in the House of Commons - book chapter completed - further work continuing.
- The use of Early Day Motions in the House of Commons.
