Sustainable agro-food systems.

Farm diversification and rural economies.

Farmer environmental attitudes and decision-making, particularly in context of diffuse pollution and water quality (current ESRC/RELU grant).

Agricultural tenure in the UK (current ESRC grant).

Farm Business Survey for SW England (Defra).

I am currently supervising 10 PhD and 1 MPhil students.
