Other Help and Support

The College follows the University’s policies on help for students with disabilities and health and safety issues. In addition the University also offers a wide range of support services for students.

Help for Students with Disability, Illness or Injury

The University’s policies and support for disabled students can be found at the AccessAbility website.

The College Disability Officer is Jo Thomas, who you can contact on J.H.Thomas@exeter.ac.uk or 01392 723174.  Catherine Allen is the Streatham based Disability Officer. Jenny Andrews is the Disability Officer for the College at the St Luke’s Campus.

Health & Safety

The University’s has a policy on health and safety.

University Support Services

The University provides information on a range of support services (including information on counselling services, English Language Centre, Foreign Language Centre, study skills services, chaplaincy, the Student Advice Centre, support for international students and careers).

Student Health Centre

You should register with a doctor as soon as you arrive in Exeter - at the University Health Centre at Reed Mews on the Streatham campus or with a nearby practice. If you are based at St Luke's it is recommended that you register with The Heavitree Practice. Lists of health centres and NHS dentists are available from the Student Advice Centre.

International Office

The International Office can offer advice and useful information on a variety of topics for International Students.
