This is a multi-disciplinary, team-taught module, which covers various aspects of Islamic civilisation and provides a general understanding of its historical evolution. In this module, you will discuss the different approaches to the field and you will critically assess and use relevant scholarly studies and primary sources (in the original language or in translation – no knowledge of Middle Eastern languages is required) in order to produce and present your own research.
