People and social interactions are critical to soft systems complexity and the interdisciplinary activities that public servants and service workers undertake. Understanding how, where, and when to engage with decision makers, policy makers and senior actors in the public, private and voluntary sectors is a critical skill of modern and complex public service. This includes understanding to how to communicate, engage and advocate across a broad range of different actors with stakes in complex systems and networks. Building on the learning about interdisciplinary working, systems approaches, and interventions, apprentices will come to understand how to effectively engage and work with and across different stakeholder interests. This fifthmodule endows apprentices with the skills and behaviours to understand, intervene and maximise ethical and effective stakeholder engagements.
