Scheduled Learning and Teaching activity | 22 hours | Two hours a week will be devoted to close reading of texts, instruction in literary theory, group discussion and some lecturing on more general aspects of the subject, especially in relation to wider cultural, political and social contexts. Primary texts will be handed out in advance of each class and will be available on ELE; secondary required readings will be available on ELE, along with recommended additional reading. |
