Placement/Study Abroad440Lectures and practical classes at host institution in destination country in standard Arabic (written) and spoken Arabic. Currently, teaching hours at the host institution are 5 per day from Sunday to Thursday. This is approximately 153 hours /51 days over each term, taking into consideration festivities and national holidays
Placement/Study Abroad560Reading for lectures and classes; preparation and completion of coursework; and revision for written and oral examinations. Students are given a task to prepare a range of activities for class, activities include reading, learning vocabulary, learning grammar and listening. These are then discussed and activated in class through interactive learning sessions

Guided independent study100For work placement: Independent and assisted preparation for placement: Contact with organisation, arrangements for travel, accommodation and visa (where necessary), arrangement of work activities, communication with appointed academic advisor and with work supervisor.
