Exeter currently have more than 700 students studying here from the Middle East & North Africa across all study levels, from foundation to PhD. Our Institute of Arab & Islamic Studies is home to our Centre for Kurdish Studies, and we have welcomed students from all regions of Iraq for decades.

AUIS students can progress to study any Post Graduate Masters programme at Exeter in our both our College of Social Sciences and International Studies (SSIS), and College of Humanities.

Students need to meet our standard Academic and English Language Entry Requirements from Iraq, which from AUIS will be an overall GPA score of 3.0 or above. Please visit our Iraq country page for further information

AUIS-Exeter Scholarships

All AUIS students progressing to study at Exeter will receive a scholarship award.

Please note AUIS students are only eligible to hold one scholarship from Exeter at a time, and if they successfully apply for more than 1 scholarship, the one with the largest discount will be applied.
