Based on the previous module –Preparing for TESOL Enquiry – you should now have a study plan for your research. You will now conduct the study, with help from your supervisor, to demonstrate your understanding of and ability in research methods and procedure, and your strategies for conducting a study within the time and framework suggested. With guidance and support from your supervisor you will complete the preparatory stages of the study, by outlining the context, the issue and aims, and reviewing the literature; you will then gather data and analyse it in relation to your research questions. Finally, you will discuss your findings and critically consider the implications of these for your own practice and for the wider field of TESOL.
