This module gives you the opportunity to reflect critically on your own teaching and to investigate an educational issue that interest you. We will discuss different theories and models of reflective practice before you begin reflecting on an issue from your own professional work. You will be guided in this by the module leader and through discussion with your fellow students on the module. You will be supported in constructing a literature review for your topic and in writing at masters’ level. The module is delivered through a mixture of face to face seminars, on-line resources, individual tutorial support and discussion groups. Assessment is through completion of a portfolio and you will be supported in the completion of this through formative feedback from the tutor and your peers.
