I continually seek opportunities to develop my art-specific skills and further my understanding of creativity and the arts. Completing the MA will enhance my understanding of how I can make a difference in the teaching community to lead to a more creative future in the Arts.
Sarah Woodey, MA Education: Creative Arts
The University has a very good international reputation and very high quality teaching and resources, which support the development of the individual students, along with the lecturers knowing you as a person not just as a number.
Alexandra, MA Education: Creative Arts
There were various opportunities which allowed us to connect theory and personal experience or to broaden and refine our knowledge in the arts. Workshops with hands-on activities and ideas helped us “make sense” of the theory quickly, not to mention the field trip to schools that gave us jaw-dropping as well as inspirational experiences.

Our postgraduate students sustain and develop the research culture on which we all depend. At Exeter, we encourage the direct involvement of postgraduate students in research seminars. Frequently the academic sessions are led by postgraduates – presenting their work in progress. Many among this community co-author conference papers and articles with their supervisors; all are valued and heard.
