About the research

Mick Dumper has been awarded a grant of £26,000 from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

The award provides funding to convene a joint workshop of the Academic Friends of UNRWA network and the Office of the Commissioner-General of UNRWA to examine the future challenges confronting the agency in the light of developments in the Middle East and delineating possible policy options. There will be contributions by academic experts specialising in the work of the agency and in the politics of the region.  The workshop will be held at the University from 4th-6th December.
