Syllabus Plan

Whilst the module’s precise content may vary from year to year, it is envisaged that the syllabus will cover some or all of the following topics:

  •  The “better regulation” agenda of the European Union
  •  The EU as political system. The mixed polity              
  • Theories of European Integration
  •  The policy processes of the European Union
  • The Monetary Union
  • Interactive session “Brexit”

  •  Interest representation, participation and transparency
  • The European single market
  •  Member state compliance with EU policies
