Assessing the Mental Health Benefits of Walking the South West Coast Path

About the project

This follows on from a previous SWCP project in 2020 quantifying mainly the physical health and wellbeing benefits (see 2020 report here). The current project, commissioned by the South West Coast Path Association, will build on recent advances in methodology for assessing mental health and wellbeing benefits of green and blue spaces, and will consider inequalities relating to environmental access that impact on these benefits, as well as implications for policy and practice. More details on the project can be found here
