This Module is available to take in Term 1.
In this module, you will produce a research paper of 6,000 words on a legal or socio-legal topic of your choice. You have to identify and approach a suitable supervisor among the teaching staff of the Law School to match the proposed research paper topic and your areas of interest. Your supervisor will guide your research and writing according to an individually agreed framework, but you are largely expected to determine your own deadlines and define your own work programme in order to meet the final submission deadline set by the Law School.
The module convenor will finalise the allocation of supervisors/supervisees and will provide general guidance about supervision arrangements.
Note:
1. You can register only once for this module ie you cannot also do a Research Paper in term 2. The module cannot be taken along with any of the Dissertation modules (LAW3047, LAW3047A, LAW3063, or LAW3151B).
