Syllabus Plan

The Roman inheritance
Christian Political Theory
Augustine, Aquinas, Christian Aristotelianism and Natural Law
Machiavelli’s Prince and Discourses
More and Christian Humanism
The Reformation, power and the social contract in Hobbes and Spinoza.
