POL2095: From Climate Change to Quantum Theory: The Future of International Relations

This module descriptor refers to the 2017/8 academic year.

Module Aims

The principal aim of this module is to equip students with the conceptual, theoretical and empirical tools to understand the future macro trajectories of world politics. Top this end the module has three subsidiary aims. 1) to equip you with the most cutting edge theoretical tools for understanding global politics; 2) to critically engage and explore some of the major trends in world history; 3) to develop robust frameworks within which to speculate about the future of world politics.

On successfully completing the programme you will be able to:
