POL3211: Nonviolence: Power and Politics

Is civil disobedience legitimate?
Overthrowing Dictators with Nonviolence
Nonviolence as Tool to ‘Democratize Democracy’
Nonviolence in the institutions: political parties and policy change
Nonviolence as defence and Anti-Terrorism
Can nonviolence work in global politics? Evidence from the European Union (Is the EU a credible normative power committed to nonviolence? From the Ventotene Manifesto to the EP resolution on human rights)
