Syllabus Plan

- Religion and the law;
- Criminal Behaviour and criminal justice;
- Migration and minorities
- Marriage, divorce and child custody disputes;
- Land Ownership and Property Transfer;
- Contracts and torts;
- Charities and trusts;
- Inheritance;
- The Poor Law;
- The legal profession;
- Women’s status and rights;
- The changing social, economic and political background;
- Changing perceptions of the past: how legal history has been written and who has written it.
