This module descriptor refers to the 2020/1 academic year.
Module Aims
This module covers the essential areas of elementary Sorani. It aims to develop all language-related skills, including reading, listening, speaking and grammar using a variety of written and audio material and video-clips. By the end of the module, you will have achieved basic spoken proficiency in the Sorani language and have mastered the key points of Sorani grammar, syntax and vocabulary.

Use simple sentence structures, to ask questions and give information about oneself and one's environment and carry out basic conversation on a variety of topics. 3.
