Syllabus Plan

Whilst the precise content may vary from year to year, it is envisaged that the syllabus will cover all or some of the following topics:

  • The social construction of crime and crime statistics;
  • Institutional racism, disproportionality and ‘stop and search’;
  • Race, riots and policing;
  • Race and prisons;
  • Counter-terrorism, Prevent and Islamophobia;
  • Racially motivated hate crime.
