Module Aims

The aim of this module is to allow you to focus on a philosophical topic and methodology of your choice and engage in a sustained, in-depth piece of philosophical research

On successfully completing the programme you will be able to:
Module-Specific Skills1. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in a specialised subject area in philosophy.
2. Design an individual research programme, incorporating appropriate philosophical research methods

Module Content

Syllabus Plan

Student-led workshop on 'Dissertation research and writing.' 
At least four supervision meetings: one to initiative the dissertation followed by three meetings to give academic guidance including specific feedback on draft work
