POLM881DA: Work Based Project
This module descriptor refers to the 2021/2 academic year.
Module Aims
Module three will help apprentices put into practice skills (S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S9, S10) and knowledge’s (K1, K2, K3) gained through modules 1 and 2, and to evidence core behavioural change (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9) towards the IATE Systems Thinking Practitioner standard. Evidence of the development trajectories towards the standard will be captured in apprentices e-portfolio

Module-Specific Skills | 1. Evidence a sound working knowledge of soft systems methodology or the VSM 2. Evidence a sound working knowledge of critical systems heuristics |
Discipline-Specific Skills | 3. Demonstrate abilities for applying systems thinking in practice and in cross-organisational settings 4. Evidence the application of systems theory at appropriate settings, scales, and temporalities within their home organisation 5. Evaluate the value and import of soft systems approaches in addressing extant organisational challenges and in so doing develop leadership skills and behaviours |
