Postgraduate Module Descriptor

POLM884DA: Work Based Project

This module descriptor refers to the 2021/2 academic year.

Module Aims

Module six will help apprentices put into practice the skills (S4, S5, S6, S8, S9, S10, S11) and knowledge (K3, K4, K5) gained through modules 4 and 5, in addition to those gained from modules 1-3. Critically, it will offer apprentices a final opportunity to evidence core behavioural change (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9) towards the IATE Systems Thinking Practitioner standard. Evidence of the development trajectories towards the standard will be captured in apprentices e-portfolio.

Re-assessment

Re-assessment takes place when the summative assessment has not been completed by the original deadline, and the student has been allowed to refer or defer it to a later date (this only happens following certain criteria and is always subject to exam board approval). For obvious reasons, re-assessments cannot be the same as the original assessment and so these alternatives are set. In cases where the form of assessment is the same, the content will nevertheless be different.
