Module Content

Syllabus Plan

Whilst the precise content may vary from year to year, it is envisaged that the syllabus will cover all or some of the following topics:

The social construction of crime and crime statistics;
Institutional racism, disproportionality and ‘stop and search’;
Race, riots and policing;
Race and prisons;
Counter-terrorism, Prevent and Islamophobia;
Racially motivated hate crime.
