Profile

Michael Tedder spent much of his professional career as a lecturer at Mid-Cornwall College / St Austell College between 1976 and 2003. He started by teaching Liberal Studies for part-time and full-time vocational courses as well as various GCE subjects. He became responsible for part-time teacher education in 1984, as tutor for C&G 730 Further and Adult Education Teachers’ Certificate, and established the Certificate in Education (FE) / PGCE (PCE) of Exeter University in St Austell. He taught modules of the Plymouth University Integrated Masters Programme at the College.

Between 2004 and 2008 Michael was a Research Fellow at the School of Education and Lifelong Learning for the ‘Learning Lives‘ project and for two SWitch projects. He continues to hold an honorary role as research fellow in the Graduate School of Education.
